My husband and I dined at Bommie during our weeklong vacation. The host greeted us very politely, we were seated at a nice table for 2 along the glass wall looking out to the water. Unfortunately this was the best part of our evening.
Our server was a brusque, robust woman wearing a uniform that resembled that of a council bus driver. Her manner matched her uniform and her extremely practical shoes - that should never have been allowed outside of the kitchen. The food was enjoyable, although over salted for my taste, and being used to fine dining prices in the US, it was very expensive. When we are paying top, top dollar for a meal, we appreciate warm hospitality and a little bit of elegance from our server. Unfortunately neither of those qualities were found in the very average staff at Bommie.
