The location is fab! Activities as well (if you're prepared to pay for them).

Service was really poor, not even three star level. This was because they had a lot of casual workers (our waitress never had any experience at all before). For example we'd get our coffees, but they forgot to bring sugar. Once the sugar arrived they notice that we don't have spoons. Mistakes can happen, but in this place they seemed to happen a little too often...

As for the food: nicely presented and abundant... but not fresh at all (apart from the vegetables everything was frozen). And don't expect to be getting fish or anything of that sort, because the only prawns we got were frozen fresh water ones! We had a lot of quails, chicken and rabbit! Not what you would expect on an island...

We made a couple of trips to the barrier reef and were charged twice the price... they said it was a mistunderstanding, but they still wanted the money!

Rooms are nice and some extra touches were really appreciable... Guess our only shock was when we found a platinum denture under a sofa!

In general we thought the place was nice, but not really worth the money. We wouldn't reccomend it to anybody and for sure we wouldn't go back.

The management has changed in the meanwhile, so maybe it is better now...

I had the most ROMANTIC and FABULOUS holiday of my life here! Gorgeous, secluded, relaxing, and WONDERFUL! Rooms were very charming--beautiful flowers all over. Food was delicious--anything you want! Great wines, diving, sailing, hiking......... There were some A list celebs there when I visited. I LOVED this island!!!

Fabulous, absolutely fabulous. A beautiful exclusive island where the staff are attentive yet discreet. You can lie in a hammock ALL day if you want. Take a little dinghy out and have a picnic on a secluded beach. Learn to dive or sail. Go snorkelling or take a canoe out. Just perfect. The food was excellent and there's a 7 course meal every evening. Don't panic! They're very eatable portions, just enough to give you a taster. Maximum capacity is 42 guests. When we got there there were 20 guests, by the end of the week there were 4 of us. It was like having our own island. Would definitaly go back.
