We found the accommodation excellent and the room was to a good standard of comfort. No road noise was a bonus and the location is perfect as each night we were able to go for a walk along the 'Strand'. The pool was small but enough to cool off from the heat of the day. Secure parking was a bonus and we felt secure.

My husband & I stayed at The Waters Edge, The Strand recently. The hotel is right across the road from the beach very good located close to all cafes & restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful. The price of the hotel ($120 per night) seemed fair considering its location. There is secure car parking & a pool in the complex which is clean and neat. The rooms were clean and neat also, flat screen tv, mini fridge, cupboards full of plates, glasses & cutlery. Enough clothes space to hang and fold clothes if needed and balcony with small table & chairs. Bathroom was outdated but still neat and clean.

Wifi available but quite expensive therefore didn't purchase it. Overall great hotel and located is brilliant. Will stay again.

We needed to check in early at 1:00 pm to get ready for a sporting event, on calling the hotel after booking on line, the receptionist said "the room would be ready when it;s ready" this meant that we had to make back up plans in case we could not get into the room, When we did arrive at 2:00pm the room was ready and we were able to make the sporting event. Over all a neat room in a good location. But would we stay here a again? probably not!

Great little place to spend a few days. I would not recommend this place for extended stays, Rooms are small but very comfy. Our room was clean but some furnishings could use a touch up. The view from our room was out over the pool, Strand and up to Castle Hill. The complex is super handy to coffee shops but I would venture into town for a decent meal. Bilo is within 5 minutes walk, as is bakery, chemist, butcher. There is an excellent bbq area and two pools. If you are wanting location this is the place. Staff were friendly.
