“Very nice indeed.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 27, 2012

My family and I booked 4 apartments for 9 nights last year. The manager gave us an excellent deal as we were staying the week after Indy (not sure what it's called now - the Gold Coast V8s). We asked for apartments close together and were very happy with what we got. The apartments were all very clean and all appliances were working and efficient. The balconies were clean too and allowed some nice sea views. We were on the top floor and enjoyed the lovely breeze and view. As it is an older style apartment building, we didn't have any of the problem of accessing lifts. Two of the other apartments we booked were on other floors and we accessed them easily - usually via the stairwell. The manager was very helpful and booked our sightseeing for us too. There is a little group of shops about 50m down the road which has a convenience store and a bottle shop. Also across the road is an excellent restaurant called Sayas which we went to twice. I would have preferred to be closer to Cavill Ave but for what we paid - about $675 for 9 nights - we were very pleased. Our only quibble was the noise on the streets in the small hours - the young ones coming back from the clubs etc. Even 7 floors up, they are so noisy, waking us on Friday and Saturday nights. Obviously not the managers fault in any way but next time I think we will stay much higher up!

Room Tip: Ask for an ocean view.

We stayed in Kupari motel apartments for 4 days and we were completely satisfied . The manager of Kupari, Phil was very helpful and friendly . He provided an excellent service for this affordable accommodation. Kupari is very close to all facilities, restaurants, shopping centers and also it is very close to most of main attractions of Gold coast . It is 15 minutes walk to sky point and 5 minutes walk to the beach. The room was clean and quiet with fantastic view of the beach and it was fully furnished with all facilities. You can find everything for having a good holiday in Kupari. Fatemeh from Sydney

Phil the host was great and helpful. However the other woman at the counter often give us this look. But i wouldn't care about her. The place is very close to the beach(you can see the beach from the room), shops are very close by, but the sofa looks really old and dusty. Other than that, it is worth every penny staying here.

I travelled to the Gold Coast with my father in October 2012 for the Gold Coast 600 V8 Supercars. The Manager Phil was fantastic during the booking process & couldn't be more helpful. The Apartments are in a great location for the Race only one block from the track entrance & its also only a short walk for the main part of Surfers! We stayed in one of the Two bedroom apartments which also had two bathrooms, a laundry and a full kitchen. The resort it self is getting a bit old, however I don't think that you could beat it for value for money. It has a fully secured underground car park & easy access to all major facilities. If you are considering staying here for the Supercars in future I would certainly recommend it, if you are considering a family holiday on a budget I don't think you'll be disappointed.

We recently stayed at the Kupari Apartments for 10 days with our 7 year old son. Our apartment was on the top floor and the views were amazing. We got to watch whales every morning as an added bonus. We arrived early on our first day and Phil the Manager was there in a jiffy to let us in and whenever we saw him he was helpful and courteous and went out of his way to ensure our stay was pleasant. Our apartment may not have been 5 Star but we didn't want that, we wanted a home away from home where we could relax and our son could too. Our apartment was clean and roomy (1 bedroom) with plenty of room for our son's rollabed and all the appliances worked well. The decor was lovely and the proximity to Cavill Mall and Sea World was fantastic. We got to walk along the beach each day and went to all the Theme Parks.

We can't thank Phil enough. We would definitely recommend these apartments and would not hesitate to stay there again on our next trip to the Gold Coast.

Room Tip: Our top floor apartment meant we were on the end so it was very quiet. We never heard our neighbour...

We have just come back from staying at the Kupari for 7 nights
We had a room on the top floor-the view was Fantastic!!!!, The kitchen was equipped well, was great to have a washing machine and dryer, the room was clean, was so convientant to bus stop, only 2 minutes away, 1 minute from store and a lovely 5-10 minute walk to cavill ave.
Phil was brillant! and very helpful, they even had boogie boards for the kids to borrow.
My only critisim was the room needing a bit of a do up, the sliding door wouldn't slide properly and I couldn't open it myself, my partner had to, the curtains were falling off the clips, the mirror was peeling off, the tap needed to be glued back onto the wall, little things but a bit of maintenance on the owners behalf wouldn't go astray.
Apart from this would defiantely come back- our holiday was perfect

My husband and I have stayed in this hotel twice and would return. Although it is unrenovated, the rooms are clean and value for money. Location is ok, only about a 10 minute leisurely walk to cavil ave.
