“Good not great”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2014 via mobile

We arrived and the woman in reception was very cold and un welcoming, We felt like we were an inconvenience to her. There was hair in the bathroom sink and broken makeup all over the bench in the bathroom. We were going to notify reception on departure but was closed (as advertised). One roll of toilet paper is provided and you have to purchase more from reception if required.. I have never heard of this and found it very strange. Overall the room was nice but the experience was let down by some small things.

Good start to our visit, we arrived a bit early and they hadn't give us a twin bed room but checked us in and told us to leave our bags in the room until the room was sorted for us. Room was spotlessly clean, a little worn but had everything thing we needed, great sized fridge, excellent bathroom/laundry facilities, great wifi and a stunning view. When we checked out we were doing the Sky climb and again we were able to leave our bags there until we had finished. Lady on reception was charming and friendly. Will totally recommend as value for money and very convenient to all activities, the centre of Surfers and the beach!

We stayed for 8 days back in February. This apartment was exactly what we were after. We really enjoyed just being left to it and the room was great. We loved the private balcony area and of course the air conditioning! I like how the rooms can be made private or open plan and when I asked if we could have a sea view, they delivered without hesitation. Would definitely stay here again. A reasonably price for quality accommodation. I don't think we could have asked for better.

Room Tip: Definitely ask for an ocean view where possible. We were on the 4th floor which was great but I woul...

Stayed here a few weeks ago. Although it was only overnight, it was a nice experience. Very close to beach & a short walk to Cavill Mall. Room is spacious & well set out. The bathroom has a spa in the corner & a dryer as well. Ample choice of dining experiences. Parking is FREE unlike a lot of other accommodation. Limited free WIFI is also available. Would happily recommend staying here.

We stayed for 5 nights. Had a spa apartment. Queen Bed. Comfortable stay with well equipped kitchen. The sofa is a fold out bed. Foxtel and internet access. Laundry facilities in the bathroom. Ironing board but no iron in apartment. Note: there is some drawers for clothes but no wardrobe/hanging space - so if you are staying for an extended period and need to hang clothes this could be an issue.
Location was good - a 5 min walk to beach, 10-15 min to the restaurant hub.
Resort has a pool, sauna, spa and tennis court and parking for hire car. Is a little dated and tired, but overall excellent value.

We stayed 3 nights on a Website Deal. We were given a room on the 8th floor with Ocean views, which we were very happy with considering we were not paying full price. The room was a bit dated & the king size bed was 2 singles pushed together, so I tended to be laying on the join most of the time. Kitchen was well equipped for our needs & bathroom was a good size but my husband had to rescrew the hot & cold knobs back onto the shower taps & the toilet cistern button kept sticking so he made adjustments to the toilet as well. Laundry facilities was an added bonus with dryer. The draws in the bedroom cupboard were broken & some of the timber louver slats were broken but we were only in the room for a short time. Oasis Shopping was close by and it was nice to walk along the beach in the mornings. This was really a good location & we would stay here again but would ask for a room that was more updated.

Room Tip: Request an Ocean View on the Higher floors & make sure the king size bed is not 2 singles pushed...

Unit was suitable for needs. King size bed was great, nice and comfortable. Kitchen met our week stay with regards to self sufficiency. Great view on 8th floor toward ocean. Entry into unit hampered by kitchen table and chairs. Signs of age of unit noticeable. Could have been cleaner but overall OK. We were out a lot of the time.
Value for money.
You will need to buy groceries and other essentials if staying for a few days or pay for extras.
Walking time to central area of Surfers around 15 - 20 minutes north. Shopping center and restaurants at the Oasis south of hotel about 3 minute drive or 15 - 20 minute walk.
Beach is patrolled and really nice! Miss it already :-)

Room Tip: Higher equals better view and try for east side of building (sea view)
