“Fantastic Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2009

My family and I recently stayed at Mantra Wings and had a fantastic time. We stayed in a 2bedroom deluxe unit which had ocean views. The room was very spacious and had everything we required for our stay. The pool area was great - very clean and a great place for us to relax while the kids played in the pool.
The Reception staff were fantastic! Whenever we had any questions regarding tours, theme parks or transportation they were very helpful and informative - especially Alesha & Lara. We were always greeted with a hello as we left and asked how our day was when we returned, which we thought was very nice.
It was a fantastic stay and we would definately return.

My husband, our 2 year old son and I stayed at Mantra Wings for 3 nights over the Easter Break. We arrived at 9am, with plans to go to Sea World for the day until our room was ready. Lara at reception was most helpful and stowed our luggage for us in a locked room. We easily caught the bus to Sea World just outside the hotel and by the time we'd had a great day at Sea World and arrived back (about 1:30pm) our room was ready.

Opened the door to our room, and all we could say was oh my god!! It was stunning with the most awesome view towards the beach and overlooking the pool.
We had booked a 1 bedroom deluxe apartment and it was more then enough room for the 3 of us. The apartment was extremely modern and had a well equipped kitchen and two bathrooms. It was also great to have a washing machine and dryer so going home with clean clothes was great, and for longer stays you wouldn't need to pack as many clothes.

The balcony was huge and we spent many an afternoon out there reading and looking at the views, while our little one was having his nap. The pool was brillant, perfect temperature and great with the sand surrounding it and the wading area. The spa was extremely relaxing and found the whole pool, playground area perfect. Would love the same set up at my house!!

It was an easy walk to Cav Ave, took about 15 mins and we did this at least once a day.
We also we went to the Pink Poodle, first night we had them do room service where the food wasnt' all that great. The next night though we went down for drinks and nibblies and were pleasantly surprised to discover they had highchairs and an extensive kids menu - with not one chicken nugget in sight!! Our little one devoured the meatballs in record time, followed by an ice cream, which gave my husband and I time to have a couple of wines and enjoy the bread and dips.

Also must reccommend going to the Northcliff SLSC for breakfast, best omlette I have ever had and a view that was extremely impressive - right on the beach. And only a five minute walk away from Mantra Wings.

I would definetely be going back to Mantra Wings, in fact we have booked two weeks at Christmas - 3 nights was just not long enough!!
Also nothing we asked the girls at reception was too much. Although we had to wait 1 night for our prebooked DVD player, they had in our apartment the next morning and didn't charge us for it for our stay. There was also no problem with arranging a late check and at no other cost. Thankyou Lara, Ashleigh and Haylee.

Can't wait to go back.....We LOVE Mantra Wings

I stayed for 5 nights as part of a longer trip. This was one of the biggest apartments we had on the whole holiday with large bedroom with lots of storage. Bed was a bit hard though and there was no TV in the bedroom itself. Great bathroom but shower only. Well appointed kitchen and laundry room. (actually bigger than my kitchen at home!) Lots of living space with lounge area, separate dining area and huge balcony. Maid service would have been a bonus and I would have expected at least 1 visit during our stay. The apartments are about halfway between surfers and broadbeach and easily walkable to surfers and back even after a few beers. Pool area was a bit disappointing as although very nice and clean it seemed to virtually always be in the shade. The busy road next to the hotel was quite noisy but also made it handy for catching the regular buses to theme parks etc.

The apartment I had for my week stay, a one bedroom deluxe, was very spacious, with modern furnishings, massive kitchen and dining areas and a very nice ocean view. What surprised me most was the fact that there was 2 bathrooms, which worked out quite well as I was staying with a group of friends.
The pool area is small, however it is adequate, as is the well equipped gym. There is plenty of secure underground car parking.
Although I did not go there myself, the iconic Pink Poodle pub at the bottom of the hotel is a really good place for some quiet drinks according to some mates of mine.
I did have some friends staying in a room across from me on the same level in a two bedroom apartment, which looks like fantastic value. Although the 2 bedroom aptms are located on the corner of the building, they still offer really great views of the beach, city and hinterland, and also has alot of space.
The only negative I can think of is that it is a bit of walk from Cavill, about 15mins, but you soon forget about it after you've had a few drinks :D

Ticked all the boxes for us. We stayed in a deluxe 1 bedroom apartment:
Modern, spacious and clean
All the facilities you need
Amazing pool and spa
Close to the beach
Bus stop right out front going to Cavill Ave as well as theme parks
Bit of a walk to Cavill Ave but didn't pose a problem for us

Really recommend staying here!

Stayed here in January 2009 and the 2 bedroom apartment was excellent. The décor was bright and fresh the room very clean plus lots of room to move.

We found that the room was very quiet inside and the facilities Pool and BBQ area’s exceptional. The booking process for the BBQ worked a treat.

Great view of the ocean from the balcony

A nice walk along the beach to Surfers main streets, as well as being close by the café’s and restaurants at Broadbeach.

Highly recommended accommodation

Beautiful Place, swimming pool and spa great but really that was about it. Spacious appartments, mostly clean but not so nice lying in bed looking up at the air con with dirty brown marks on the bottom of it...that i cleaned off, the one in the lounge was the same. Had trouble with air con and microwave and one of the girls on reception was most helpful which was lovely to see as we were greeted by the most unfriendly girl who should not be in hosp, no hello, smile, welcome nothing, Lara if you happpen to read this your people skills are shocking and you dont leave a good name for mantra wings at all. Small things like service leave a lasting impression!
We stayed in a deluxe room, but wouldnt call it a deluxe. King bed made out of 2 singles was most uncomfortable. All in all good location but wont be back to stay at this place.
