As would expect in typical zagame fashion they have added the extra touch to pool area fantastic good job guys we just got back from Disneyland Anaheim and stayed in the paradise pier and my kids loved this hotel better all in all great hotel rooms could use a face lift but rest assured the kids facilities are second to none anywhere in the world and working for a airline we have stayed at quite a few..

I stayed here with my family (kids aged 1 and 3) in 2011 and it was ok.
I stayed for 7 nights in February 2012 and it has improved out of sight.
The pools have been completley redesigned with a toddlers theme pool and small slide. Great for 2 year olds +. The main pool is now where the lap pool was and is a 3 tiered water playground with 4 main slides and big water bucket that dumps every couple of minutes. Water cannons, and fountains abound and the kids love it. Entertainment is provided each lunchtime.
The kids club is as brilliant as ever and is included in accomodation packages. GO FOR THIS OPTION.
Food is good and plentifull from the cafe.
Bistro is still a bit hit and miss but there is now an a lacarte option which is good.
Concierge staff are brilliant as ever and very helpfull.
MY KIDS STILL TALK ABOUT IT AND WANT TO GO BACK.
if you have young kids and are looking for a water themed park for toddlers go here.
You will find that wet and wild is a bit limited for small kids as they can't go on the big rides but Paradise caters for them and you wont be uut of pocket.
The King bunk room was great and had lots of room. take DVDs as there is a PS in the room hooked up to the kids TV.

Room Tip: king bunk room good size for a family of 4.

I have to say on reading previous reviews on the PR i wasn't looking forward to seeing the place, but what a pleasant suprise when we got there. I was very happy with the first impression of the place...the staff are so friendly and not only treated me with respect but my 6 year old too.
The rooms are clean and basic but thats what we wanted anyway, and waterparks are amazing. My son and i were on the slides and pool from morning till night. Oh and he loved going to the kids club, even when we were out at the theme parks he would remind me to be back at 4 o'clock so he could go the Z4K(zone for kids).
THe food in the bistro was very nice and average prices i think anyway.
Overall we had an excellent holiday and we cant wait to come back again next year with my one year old.
Keep up the good work Paradise Resort, i think your establishment is AWESOME! (as my 6 year old said).

Room Tip: We had a balcony facing the pool and i didnt find it noisy.

Recently stayed in a family room with our 2 toddler boys and this hotel was perfect for us. Lots for the kids to do - the waterparks are excellent, as was the pool and spa. The adventure playground and zone for kids were also great, giving them many options to release energy! The activities by the pool were good, although our boys were a bit young to participate.
The staff were very friendly and helpful - check in, discovery desk, shops and cafe, room attendants.
The rooms were clean and simple enough that we didn't have to worry about the boys getting into/breaking anything.
The cafe and mini mart are well priced. We hired an extra stroller - $40 for the week which was good.
The hotel is well located - shops are an easy walk and buses out the front.

If you need a resort where the kids will have an absolute ball of a time, this is the place to be. Location is perfect, just a 5-10minute walk to Caville Ave, Heart of Surfers.

The rooms are simple, the basic / budget rooms are little outdated with old fashioned furnishings and a box tv set, though rooms were spotless and everything is well maintained and in working condition !!! Rooms were cleaned daily, Stock was replenished. We got a room at the far end, back of the building, quite a bit of walk through the resort, up the elevator and across 2 hallways, We didn't mind the extra exercise, some may opt for a closer room if you dont like too much walking. It was fairly quite at our end, and after a day at the theme parks you will sleep like a baby anyway.

There was free childminding / Playgroup everyday between 4-8pm for our two kids, this was included in the $144 daily rate. This price is worth the childminding alone. Kids had a blast of a time, painting, singing, dancing, storytelling, games, movies, you name it, they had it going on. A couple of times i went to pick the kids up early and they didnt want to leave, they said to come back at 8pm. there is optional meals for the kids for extra $8 each. Quite funny as when you walk thru the hallways at this time you can hear all the mums and dads getting friendly in the rooms while the kids were away..!! lmao

There is a Cafe and restaurant near the lobby, service can be better, took 15min to make 2 coffees, staff seemed confused and may need more training, Coffee was weak, cold and milky.

oops almost forgot the main attraction !!! There is a Waterpark built into the resort, very similar to the kids attraction at wet'n/wild. Kids loved it. Lots of seats and lounge chairs to sunbathe, have lunch and look after the kids.

Would definitely recommend this place, check out their website first as they had the best deal there, We got $100 free coles myer voucher by booking direct with them. Well be back next year and will definitely stay here again !!

Room Tip: Far back of the building if you want peace and quite, although its quite a walk.

We just got back from 6 nights at Paradise Resort with a child who turned 4 while there. We had a great time, my 4 year old boy just loved the kids club, even on his birthday, when asked if he'd rather spend the day with Mum and Dad, nope, I want to go to kids club. Which was great for us, we had 4 days with time to ourselves, 4 whole hours of it every day!
If you want a flash room, this is not the place for you, but most people with kids won't care less about the rooms, as long as the kids are having a great time and you get a bit of peace while they are at kids club, who cares about the rooms. And they are not that bad, a bit outdated, but totally adequate.
The most amazing thing about the resort is the facilities. Kids club that is huge with lots of different areas and a different theme every day (and is included in the cost of most packages), big playground, activities around the pool, movies by the pool on Sat night, free kids DVD and Playstation games hire, and the most impressive, the huge multi level water park with lots of slides. My son would have spent all day every day here if he could.

If you have kids up to the age of about 10, this is the place for you.

Room Tip: We stayed on Birt Ave, which was nice and quiet, but also very close to the pool.

We have stayed at the paradise resort as r have 2 young kids. The pool area is great for kids. There are 2 large pool toy and they can play there for long time. Kids club has a great facility. But my older daughter said sometimes the staff are angry and not friendly.

The room is clean but little bit old fashion but my husband said they did renovated few years ago which I thought they need to renovated.

But if you want real family holiday with young kids, this is the place to go for sure.

Dear Makichan and Family,
Thank you for leaving a review of your recent stay with us. Whilst we are happy that you enjoyed yourselves it was dissappointing to read that your older daughter felt some of the staff were not as friendly as could be.
We certainly pride ourselves on going beyond expectations to our younger guests and spend many hours training our team on the importance of ensuring that the kids have a holiday of a life time.
Our entire focus here at PAradise Resort is to make every child feel line they never what to leave and let Mum & Dad know how much fun they have had.
We will certainly follow up your comments with the various departments to recify any issues we may have as soon as possible.
kind regards
David & The Team
