“good choice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2013

Great choice of burgers - plus for those who aren't keen there are other things to chose from. Really friendly staff, very popular place and a great selection to chose from - plus reasonable prices - what more could you want.

“Don't waste your money by stopping here”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2013 via mobile

For a Saturday night the place was relatively empty so we thought we'd grab dinner. The burgers came out cold like they'd been pre cooked this afternoon and someone had tried to reheat them in the microwave but failed miserably. When I'm paying over ten dollars for my burger I don't expect it to be served with plastic cheese or only a few stingy pieces of onion and salad. Very disappointed. I first had a burger when it just opened and it was great. Whatever has happened there since isn't for the better! Oh and don't ask for water at the table because you'll be charged for it.

“Little gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2013

Great quick meal, filling and great value for money, loads of variety in burgers and during the week each night has a theme, great place for kids, families, groups or a quick business deal.

“Awful food and worse service”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2013

We saw this place while driving through town and stopped for lunch with our kids. From the outside it had a funky feel and burgers on the posters looked delicious. Boy were looks ever deceiving! This was the worst food we have had in over 8 months of international travel. All 3 burgers we had were dry and tasteless with bits of grissle and were clearly 'expanded' with considerable filler and not much meat. They had insufficient sauce and were served plain on a platter with no garnish, nothing. Our youngest ordered the 'kids burger,' which was exactly the same as adult burger, but with chips. The french fries looked and tasted like they were from a bag of frozen potatoes, and the onions rings were greasy, also clearly from a frozen bag. Overall, the food was terrible and grossly overpriced for what was supplied.

Service was even worse. I guess because it was midday (lunch) there was only one fellow on shift and he was very hard to find. When placing our order we asked for water and were served bottled water at $3 each. One of the kids had already opened his, but we returned the rest and asked for tap water which was brought reluctantly and not refilled once during our meal. On our way out of the restuarant (after the disappointing food) we saw a 'specials' sheet on another table (we were not given one) and it indicated that we could have had free drinks with our lunch. The waiter had said nothing about any specials and we were left having to pay for our bottle of water.

End result, it cost us $54 for 3 dry burgers, a greasy side of onion rings, a bottle of water and an overly-sweet smoothie. The next day we had a buffet lunch at Sizzler for less money and the food was way better!! That alone says something. Perhaps it was just a bad day, but you can't get over using frozen chips and onion rings, and burgers with filler. Seems like a funky place, too bad the food and service are awful. It was a total waste of time and money.
