1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2012

This is a noisy motel on the main road. the air con is out of the ark, however at least when you switched it on it drowned out the noise of the lorries driving past all night.
The room did not seem to have been painted since the 1980s although it was clean and the bed comfortable.
Girl on reception was quite unhelpful. Made sure dood was secure at night

booked online, room best described as a dog kennel, broken tiles on kitchen floor, dirty aircon, very little english spoken, car park a joke, noisy traffic, trucks etc. CazzThom your right look elsewhere, much nicer motels for same money

Room Tip: when you see the sigh "keep driving"

Good car parking, got out and walked past a guy going to one of the rooms on the way to the reception...want to highlight what CazzThom said and not the best place to stay with the family or those who feel uncomfortable knowing that there is a possibility of people working from their rooms. Room wasn't too bad, not worth the money we paid..but it was clean. Tv had cable which was awesome but the issues we had were: noise from trucks all night, windows had some sort of plastic on them so you couldn't see out or in, bathroom window was broken and did not close. Overall, it wasn't too bad in terms of the room. Reception people provided good service and if it weren't for the funny business, we wouldn't of mind staying again.

Seemed quite a nice motel when viewed on the internet, and was clean. I would NOT ever recommend this motel to anyone particularly families.
I know that during the weekend 20 - 23 January 2012 there were 3 rooms that had constant visitors, same female guests but many males visitors. I will leave the rest to your imagination.
I will obviously avoid this motel.
I really do not know how they achieved there 3 star rating?????? Have been to much better motels that are 2 star!!

Room Tip: Don't use room 8 appears to be favourite

I feel bad for writing a poor review but this hotel i thought would of been much better for what i paid!. When we checked in the staff behind reception couldnt speak alot of english so was hard to understand them, One of them didnt even have a clue how to use the eftpos terminal and i had to put through my own sale!

The room was small and very cramped. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was broken and made a horrible screaming noise when it was on, biggest prob was the fan and lights were all hooked in together so when you turn light on fan went automaticly on , because of the noise had to use the bathroom in the dark which wasnt very safe! Ordered room service for dinner and even though there wasnt many people staying there it took over and hour to get our meal. It was nice once it arrived but by then i wasnt hungry anymore and couldnt enjoy it.

The phone didnt work so if we wanted to contact reception had to go to the reception as we couldnt call them. The parking was terrible, if there had been a full house there would be noway you could fit everyones cars in there. The only good thing about the place was the bed was comftable and you had free wireless internet (although it was very slow!). I have to say save you money for somewhere else.

We were passing through Rockhampton and found this little gem. We were tired and needed somwhere to stay for one night and were more than happy to find this motel. The room was very clean and comfortable with all the facilities we required. The free internet was the icing on the cake for us, brill!
