“great for breakfast with the birds”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2014

we did the breakfast option which was huge fun. The breakfast was good with a good selection but the stars were the birds. Kids would just love it. The rest of the habitat was very enjoyable - well laid out with plenty of staff. I can unreservedly recommend a visit.

“Great venue for families with children!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 6, 2014

We really enjoyed this venue! The interactions with the different wildlife creatures was really fun. Feeding the kangaroos was the highlight of this tour, was well as holding the koala bears. One very interesting piece here was when a local saw a giant python slithering around in the trees. There are no free roaming snakes in the park as it is home to many animals, so it was very fun watching them get this 14 ft intruder out. Crocs, birds of all sorts even a Cassowary, Kangaroos, etc it's all here. Must see for families!

“Small town with large pleasures”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014 via mobile

With access to some of the world's most famous scuba, Port Douglas is a small town...but with numerous good to great restaurants and toad races (oh, my!)

Lovely to poke about, marvelous Sunday market! Lovely 3 day visit.

“Wonderful wildlife interactions”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2014

When our tour guide told us we were going here, I groaned. We'd been to a wildlife park in NSW, so I thought this would be more of the same. I could not have been more wrong. First, unlike anywhere else we'd been, Wildlife Habitat allows you to hold a koala. Our kids were in heaven. The photos are priceless. We also enjoyed feeding and petting the kangaroos and wallabies, and seeing and interacting with many other native animals. This unique experience was a highlight of our trip to Australia.

“Fantastic for the entire family”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2014 via mobile

We started our visit with Breakfast with the Birds which was good food and close encounters with some of the birds which the boys (7 & 4) were thrilled with. Great range of animals to see and plenty of educational information. A memorable visit thanks.
