The day was hot and steamy as you would expect in January so it was a delight to sit down to a cool, fresh and absolutely beautiful salad. The flavours were great and when you use local fresh produce you can't go wrong. I have always found in my travels that it is often the simple foods that bring the most pleasure.
It might have been a hot day but that does not mean you don't have a cup of coffee and what a great cup of coffee it was. I have found that coffee in new towns and new coffee houses is like Russian roulette... it can be very hit and miss. Fortunately this time it was great. The pleasant surprise with this little cafe was that the prices were not unreasonable either considering we were there at a busy time of the year. Definitely worth a visit. JUst a pity it was not big enough to have a few tables inside the air conditioned area.
