We had visited Bucci in 2011 and loved it so made sure we booked up again when in town this year. Make sure you make a reservation as this restuarant is always busy and you don't want to miss out on an opportunity to eat here.
The service is excellent with very knowledgeable staff who are able to assist with your choice of food from a varied menu. My personal favourite is the hay baked lamb followed by the zabaglione. However this time I tried the tuna rissoto from the specials board. The waitress came with news that the chef had ran out of tuna and would it be ok for him to make me a seafood rissoto. This turned out to be one of the most delicious dishes I have ever tasted.
Do not visit Port Douglas without making a visit to this great restuarant. You will be hooked like we are and return year after year.
