The 3km trek and rock scrambling requires a moderate level of fitness but the amazing sight and crystal clear water is all worth it! A picturesque sight unspoilt by throngs of tourists - perfect for those who want a break from the crowded city. There are plenty of spots amongst the rocks to set out a little picnic however I would not recommend bringing a large esky as it may be hard to escort (on the way out I saw two guys carrying a massive esky who had to take rest-stops every 15mins or so... not to mention the rock climb to get to the actual water!) I also recommend wearing your swimming clothes beforehand as there are no bathroom/changeroom facilities. You will need your own transport, walking shoes, togs, hat, sunscreen and a light lunch if you want to spend the day there!
