Comfortable room, don't know what's wrong with the front desk staff, always show their attitude. Worst service ever!

Not a bad hotel overall, comfy bed, nice pool. Everything else functioned to expectation. I got this one as a mystery hotel and would be unlikely to return because I'd prefer a more central location, but if you're driving a car or using frequent bus tours then this is would make a decent base for your operations - well priced too.

As an aside, the family next door had screaming noisy children. This isn't the hotel's fault although I do look forward to the day hotels offer family levels or simply ban children altogether.

I had the opportunity to stay 3 nights at Rydges Esplanade Resort Cairns in mid March. The hotel was reasonably priced due to the special deal with Rydges at present - 3 nights for the price of 2. I selected an ocean front room which had a wonderful view of the ocean and the city centre with a small balcony, The room was comfortable and large with a sofa and desk. While the hotel was a little way out of Cairns I did not find this an issue as it is a very pleasant walk along the boardwalk into the central area which took no longer than 10 mins, being that little further out of the city you do not experience any traffic noise throughout the night . I would recommend this hotel to those heading to Cairns. It has a lovely pool and facilities. The only downside for me were that the towels supplied were little old and seen better days they were not white and fluffy, a small negative!! Perfectly fine hotel.

My bf and I stayed in this hotel for 4 days and I think the hotel was a fairly good choice for ppl who has limited budget
They have free shuttles every 3 hours to travel to the night mkt and city center which is helpful for ppl like us as we dun drive

The hotel room was neat, clean and spacious. And we got a room with the beautiful mountain view.
In fact, I think that if you don't want to go all the way out to city center for dinner, their room service menu has food with reasonable price too.

The only thing that I dun like is that the supermarket was a little far away from the hotel, and if you do not take the shuttle, it will be quite a long walk...
