“Adventurous Cape Tribulation Tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 17, 2014 NEW

It is a relax, adventurous and educational trip .You can learn some valuable knowledge about plant and animal with is living in the rainforest. You may get a chance to see Cassowaries which i adept at disappearing long before a human know they are there. Also, you can enjoy a small group tour which ensure that a reasonable convenience.
The most existing part of the trip is the Daintree cruise trip. I saw a crocodile visually within 5 meters. And the tour guide is an active and energetic person who shared a lot of valuable knowledge about crocodiles, such as how to prevent from crocodiles ‘attacks. Then, he said that April to November is the best period to visit crocodiles because of the temperature.
In addition, I had an awesome lunch which provided fresh salad and a medium-rare steak after visiting a traditional butterfly museum. I enjoyed a great lunch with a splendid atmosphere in the rain forest. After our lunch, I swan for a while in a natural river with small fishes.
After all, we went to the Cape Tribulation. Water is extremely clean and clear. I could see my feet clearly when I was swimming.
This tour is suitable for a person who loves nature and adventure.
Reminds:
Bring at least 1 liter water during sunny day
Carry some snacks for this long journey

“Daintree and Cape Tripulation day trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 3, 2014

We went on a day trip with our guide Mario. A small group of people, which is always a winner. Mario had a wealth of knowledge and turned out to be a great cook too. The trip was broken up well with a few stops at very special locations. Lunch was an awesome bbq at the insect and butterfly museum, with a lovely creek to cool your feet. We even saw a cassowary with his baby chick in the wild, very special. It is a long day (12hours) but well worth it. Thanks Mario, you were great.

“Long day but worth it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2014

We had a wonderful day with Joe as our tour guide/ bus driver.
He gave us lots of information on Daintree Rainforest from the sugar can crops nearby to the animals in the forest.

I recommend going on the Daintree and Cape Tribulation tour although if you are taking children/ young teens I don't think this tour is for you.

“Lots of time on a bus, but lots of Daintree to see!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2014

Our driver Joe was an excellent guide, and helped us through the long bus stints from Cairns, with an amusing running commentary. There were no crocs out to play when we went, however the boat guide kept us afloat with local wildlife info, and it was quite exhilarating watching and waiting. The insects museum was kept alive by the stick insects which were roaming around the facility (and occasionally on the guests). Beautiful rainforest and lots of photo points. Lunch was absolutely beautiful, better than that we'd had in a restaurant the night before! If you plan to take this trip, book in a Trek North office, as you will get a discount (thanks, Fred!).

“Very good - worth visiting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2014

We booked our trip through treknorth company. It was a great day out - started with puck up from our hotel, straight to the trip along the river. we even spoted couple of crocs. After that we were taken to the forest, beach and the star of the day was the BBQ. Fresh fish or steak prepared in front of you. Well organised.
This to improve: we were not taken far enough into the forest due to Mosquitos. I think it would be better if we're asked wether we want go into it not just 10min in.
