“Plenty to see”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2014

If you want to snorkel or dive on the reef for a day its worth the trip here. Plenty of sights to see under the water. If you get a chance to go on the semi submersible do it.

“Snorkel and Fins”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2014

This was our first day expedition from Cairns in June '08. We had a huge catamaran take us an hour or more out to the reef where we got suited up for some lazy snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef. Those with dive qualifications donned wet suits and tanks for a more adventurous experience, but those of us snorkelling didn't miss a thing. The water is crystal clear and the inhabitants are visitor friendly. The afternoon we got a ride in a semi-submersible that got us up close with gigantic clams that could make you disappear and all the gorgeous fish that inhabit the reef. This is an experience not to be missed if you get Down Under!

“Fantastic experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2014

As non swimmers but keen bird watchers we loved this experience. To see the Noddies so close was a great experience.
