“Great Coral and marine life”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2014

I've been to Cairns a few times and this is by far my favourite place to go snorkelling / scuba diving.

The birds are however a bit loud and the restricted area that people are allowed to access are the reason why it scored 4/5. Oh and mind your head; you're likely to get pooped on haha

Definitely worth a visit though!

“Great reef for Snorkelling”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2014

This reef is about 1.5hrs from Cairns and is a great location for easy snorkelling. Variety of fishes and coral life can be found here and ideal for beginners as the water is calm. The Cay is a haven for thousands of bird life, and an amazing site to see.

“Gorgeous, Gorgeous, Gorgeous”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2014

My friend and I (both 23) absolutely loved it. Didnt want it to end. Had just the best day. Great yacht, fabulous and helpful crew and one of mothers natures greatest treasures - the Great Barrier Reef. Would totally recommend sailing out to the reef, what a life. Make sure you do this one!!

“An amazing trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2014

We were advised to choose this trip for the snorkelling rather than a trip to Green Island. There is a lot of birds on this island and only a small strip of sandy beach but we didn't have a problem with this as we spent most of our time on the island snorkelling. We were lucky as we had a semi-sub tour with only one other person in the morning as everyone had gone snorkelling on the boat. The lunch on our boat was delicious and we were the only people snorkelling after our lunch as everyone else had gone back for a later lunch. We saw so many amazing fish including a leopard shark. My husband also saw a large turtle which swam under him.
