“Best Place for Ramen in Cairns”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2012

I have eaten here a few times. This is the best place in town for Ramen and Gyoza. The staff are so friendly, the atmosphere is great, feels like your eating in Japan :-)

Get in early otherwise you will have to line up and wait.

It's a great eat, not to expensive, they have free ice tea on the table. A great experience and a great meal.

Loads on the menu to choose from.

“Best gyoza in town!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2012

We visited for lunch purely based on other trip advisor reviews, and they were right - the food was amazing! We had a noodle soup each, and a serve of gyoza. I was still a bit hungry after finishing my first serve of noodles, so as suggested asked for kaedama (another serve of noodles) which quickly arrived and were slide straight into my remaining soup.

At about $12 each for an authentic Japanese lunch you can't go wrong here!

“If you miss Japanese noddles”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2012

Great place and nice price! The noodles are even comparable with restaurants in Kyoto that I visited. The owner and waiter seems to be Japan.
The place is relatively small. We are 5 people and had to sit at the bar, but it opens late.

“Always full !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2012

Got a good dose of Japanese culture at this establishment. Gets busy with the lunch crowd so try to visit around 11am before the wave, and then after 2pm. Its a good spot for dinner as well and they have a BYO licence. Very affordable and the food is tasty. No eftpos on site so take cash.

“Best Japanese cafe in town!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2012

Excellent value for money and happy vibes. I usually have the Z-Don (Rice with tuna, egg, pork, seaweed and soy sauce) which comes in 3 sizes, all very affordable. You get oolong ice tea for free. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Open kitchen allows you to see how food is prepared; transparency = good!
