“Beautifull”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2012

We often walk through centenial lakes grounds across the boardwalk throught to the botanic gardens. It is great. At the botanic gardens there is the old open air restaurant that serves breakfasts, lunches and cakes coffees, drinks and even liscensed. A lovely way to while away the time. the gardens are magnificent. there is also a new visitor centre with a new cafe further down. Impressive.

“Nothing special”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2012

It's pleasant but not a very special place, plus it's very small. Much better the blue and red arrow trails nearby! I highly recommend to stay away from the café (at least foodwise): I ordered a salad and I got a wet mixture of strange ingredients. It was so bad I had to leave it..

“Mini djungle in Cairns”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2012

The gardens are a small and well maintained "djungle". Nice little cafe, beautifully manicured rainforest gardens and definitely worth a visit. Expect to relax here for 1 to 2 hours max.
