“Pricey must delicious”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2013

We were in the area and thought we would try it out for dinner. No problems with service and the ambience was lovely. We were on the Friday night and it wasn't overly busy. We both got the wagyu rump and it was cooked to perfection - our desserts (brownie and a crime brûlée) were delicious. While it was a tad pricey it's reasonable for the area. We'll definitely be back next time for a special occasion. Only thing we didn't like we're the mosquitoes (we sat outside and it had been raining) and the rosemary pizza bread was a tad tasteless.

“what service?”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

Ok.. so we had a coupon.. but being in business myself.. coupons can be used wisely as a marketing strategy... so we thought we would give it a try... we made a booking.. as recommended - Thursday night.. we arrived on time and promptly shown to a reserved table.. all good.. we noticed it was very quiet. we were handed menus and asked for the coupon. we were given ample time to choose a drink. Drinks arrived.. ok.. then we waited.. and waited and waited for our order to be taken.. limited menu and mid prices.. my daughter selected her own meal. Order placed and we waited.. and waited... out comes the food.. but no more requests for any drinks.. 2 of us had their speciality pizzas. For $23 per pizza.. we were expecting something pretty good.. disappointing.. my base was well burnt.. black... overall they were pretty tasteless and we left about 1/3 of it each... limited toppings too. My kids chicken schnitzel was nothing to write home about.. it came with a coleslaw and a salad.. neither of which was eaten so for $19 for a bit of chicken I felt it wasn’t good value. the plates were slow to be cleared away and half of them were left and forgotten, desserts were $12 and considering we were less than impressed with the food.. we didn’t order.. but it didn't matter.. no one came back to ask us!.. we waited and waited.. as we would have liked a coffee.. so we left... we weren't asked how the food was or the visit etc.. SO I can't really comment a great deal on the service as there really was none.

it was very much a family atmosphere inside.. not somewhere I would go for a romantic meal.

“Ordinary”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2013 via mobile

Breakfast here was one of the more disappointing ones I've had in Brisbane. Coffee didn't show up until well after the food, eggs were just a bit off. Wouldn't go back. Very over priced.

“Great ambience, good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2013

The restaurant has a nice ambience and the waiters are attentive and friendly. The food was good but not great (apart from the chips; extra crunchy and salty). Good wines. Overall I would come back to try breakfast or lunch but will not be back for dinner.
