We have eaten in the restaurant before. When it first opened they did a marvelous house Sono platter, then stopped. Nothing compared to that on subsequent visits.
Decided to try the teppanyaki for an anniversary treat and it has restored my original faith in this restaurant. From the draught Japanese beer, service, Teppanyaki chef and food, everything was exceptional.
Food was well cooked and presented.
No egg or rice throwing, which was fine by us, I like my food but don't like to we're it!
I would have given it 5 stars if it were not for some over cooked prawns, given that the scallops and salmon were perfect, aliitle surprised how these were tough.
But a minor thing overall. As for price, I'd say average for a quality meal, just over $200 for food and drinks, for two.
