We actually ate at Sitar on James Street, New Farm - but I'm guessing that being such a large chain of restaurants they're all pretty much the same.
We were drawn into this little place by the delicious smells wafting out into the street on a cold, grey and drizzly Sunday lunchtime. Curry seemed to be the perfect answer to the weather.
DH ordered a Lamb Vindaloo which came with saffron rice and was a generous portion which he enjoyed very much ($12) and a glass of Coopers on Tap ($5.50). I chose a chicken tikka chappati wrap rolled with crunchy salad and dressed in a yoghurt mint sauce, a huge portion and very good value at $8.
I wouldn't hesitate to visit Sitar again.
