Part of a large dinner party. Arrived early to meet at the bar.Bar is crowded and nowhere to sit. Drinks are expensive (Pinot noir + Peroni = $21). Eventually asked to move from bar because of crowding. Go to seating - long tables with long bench seats - bench seats have to be skooshed out to sit other guests.
Food is incredibly good. Wine is incredibly good. Service is incredibly good. Noise is loud and conversation is difficult.
Other seats away from noise appear calm and conversational. Staff are wonderfully attentive.Maybe a window seat is good, but our fun was with hosts and other guests, even though we had to shout through ambient noise.
Wouldn't go back on night out, unless night was for loud fun with many people... but maybe lunchtime is easy on ears and eyes ... with river views.
