“Tight wads!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2013

On asking for a password for wifi we were told that the cost was $9.95 per hour! We have been travelling for the past three months and this is the second time that a charge was put on wifi. This the dearest by far. Get real .
We paid a high room rate for a good position in Brisbane city but this is a No Frills hotel. Even at the bland bar while we enjoyed a nice glass wine there were no crisps or nuts as in the past. For the high price of the wine that would not hurt. We decided to eat all our meals else ware and not give them any more money. There are many other places to stay with management who understand the meaning of hospitality.

Have stayed at the Mercure and the Pullman a few times now. Great value, comfortable clean rooms, good service. Valet service good, no hassles with check in check out. Very comfy bed. Quick room service.

Excellent value for money with the Accor deals.

We didn't arrive until late and the reception staff were more than helpful. The room was clean, a good shower, very quiet - yes we had a good night's sleep. The only comment I would make is that there were only 2 teabags of normal tea. I think it would be good to have a few more!
Thankyou anyway, it was lovely.

Stay here overnight after a flight delay. These people handled a tired group with professionalism and smiling faces. My room was great, though it was the m privilege. Very clean well layed out room. Quiet and comfortable. Great spot.

The staff are friendly and polite, there reception is nice.
The room was very small, the kettle had a large piece broken & missing from the handle (un safe) when we let the water out of the bath (less than half full) all the water came up through the drain in the bathroom floor and soaked my wifes clothes, the shower leaked quite bad at the wall and the towel rail was hagging very loose on the wall.
I reported this to reception the next morning and all they said was thanks for letting us know.

Great location. Clean and tidy. Room was a little small however it suited a business stay.
Service was of a high standard. the room was a little pricey when I booked 2 months out. Bar and restaurant service was great. Restaurant meals were on par with most hotels.
