“Terrific food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2013 via mobile

Lunched at Bucci on a Friday with girlfriends. Ideal. Terrific atmosphere, great breezes, and good service. The food was really good. Traditional Italian dishes on the menu but all with a modern twist. Especially god were the entrees of ravioli (deep fried with cheese inside), arancini balls (crisp with smooth cheese centres), and amazing crumbed olives with spicy meat inside. Great place to graze with reasonable wine prices and choices. A really good addition to the James Street restaurant scene.

“Great Place for some Italiano”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2013

I went here for my fiance's friends birthday the other night, it was good. I little squishy while waiting for our table near the bar. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Service was pretty good and the food was pretty good. If you are in a large group (15-20) make sure everyone has cash, it's only 1 bill per table. Watch out for the hanging decorations they can poke your eye's out (I'm not joking...)

It was also disappointing about the cakage fees...$10 per person, or buy one of their cakes...

“Top Italian nosh!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2013

Wow what great and varied Italian fare. Clearly a really popular place, especially (it seemed) on a Saturday night for groups of dressy young women. Yes its super rowdy and somewhat crowded so best not go there if you're seeking a quiet dinner spot. Its part of its eclectic charm, as were the delightful and attentive staff. If you like olives and fennel, you have got to try their stuffed olives - seriously the best ever. The duck ragu pasta was also delicious. An extensive wine list, with a choice of 3 limoncello's (that went down a tad too easily after a lovely meal).
