“Great location, close to ferries and therefore city”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2013

My husband had to work in southern suburbs and had access to car, therefore children and I had to use the ferry and it was FREE! Took Ferry across to city, walked around foreshore of Kangaroo Point. 2 bedroom apartment very clean and presentable. Cooking facilities, bathtub, washing machine and dryer! (essential with two littlies!) Would definitely stay there again. No noise issues whatsoever, unless you count a bit of traffic on the Storey Bridge.

Recently booked a two bedroom apartment for 4 nights. Husband was travelling for work and I accompanied him with our baby. I had read on here issues regarding noise so I did have a couple of reservations, but when booking I just requested to be on the water side of the property. On arrival we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to. 3 bedroom apartment- not that we needed 3 rooms. But the great thing was the main bedroom sits separately with no walls adjoining to other guest- which was great as I didn't have to be concerned about noise from our baby disturbing other guests. The apartment was SO spacious, we had great views, furniture and decor was modern and very comfortable . For what we paid we were SOO impressed by the room, and have to say the staff were more than helpful during our stay. Will definitely stay again and highly recommend !!!

Room Tip: Ask for a water view room. Three bedroom apartments are beautiful!

Great place , you can travel by car or boat to city which is only 5 mins away, apartments well looked after and clean and if lucky enough to get bridge or city view not a bad place to sit and have a wee drink with friends and family , also has nice quiet pool area and nice walk round kangaroo point

We first stayed here ten years ago in a one bedroom apartment and loved it. This time the management unexpectedly gave us a three bed apartment although we had booked a one bed. These apartments are in a great position. A 4 minute ferry ride from Eagle Street Wharf. But the apartments have great balconies overlooking the Brisbane river. The apartments are a good size however many bedrooms you have! There would have been plenty of room for five or six people in ours this time. They are well equipped from cutlery to washing machines. There is a small general store 100 yards away and a really good bar/restaurant opposite the store. Eagle Street Wharf has plenty if eating places but is also a couple of minutes from the very centre of Brisbane. One slight downside is that the apartments do need refurbishing and they don't have wifi. Their Broadband is expensive. If you have an iPad or similar buy a $30 AUD SIM card. Worked a treat all over Oz for four weeks. Even so, these apartments are great value for money and you can have breakfast on the balcony watching all the antics on the river.

Room Tip: Ask for one overlooking river.

We rented a 3 bedroom apartment here for three days and we were quite satisfied for the price ($299 AUS/night). Definitely the apartment could use updating, but it was fine. I read from others about the single AC unit, and could definitely see this as a potential problem. It was cool when we were here, so it was a non-issue, but in summer could be ugly. Free parking was great, internet was wired (no wireless). Location was nice and convenient. I would stay here again, and yes, a GREAT/AMAZING view of the River and City!!!

Room Tip: Check on AC in each room if staying in warmer temperatures.

Just another Australian apartment situation, but I personally felt pretty disappointed with the very basic furniture and amenities in the one bedroom apartment. My son was next door with his family and they had an awesome three bedroom apartment with lovely bedding, leather suites etc, so there are definitely nicer apartments in the complex. The location is ok, but its ferry or car to get anywhere.

We have stayed at this Quest several times already and our most recent saw us in a clean 1bdr apartment. This room had nice views of Brisbane river, but we have also had rooms looking onto Story Bridge.
The apartment is stocked with basic amenities - plates, cups, saucers, cutlery, kitchen utensils, TV in living room, towels. There is a washing machine and dryer, iron and ironing board, dishwasher.
There is garage parking and a security entrance.
Nearby you have several options for dining - down the road is Tuppy's food bar where they serve from breakfast, and The Story Bridge Hotel, which also has a bottle shop. Around the other side is Mitoki, a fusion Japanese restaurant that is pretty good value.
