Very spacious and clean room-was not disappointed! Bathroom was a good size and clean. Staff were helpful and knowledgeable. Hotel was a short walk to the city centre and shops and restaurants. Beware of very expensive parking charges!

The mercure seems functional and the location is in theory good and central.
However the decor is definitely tired at this point. Things are looking quite worn apart from in the lobby. The swimming pool is again functional but nothing very pleasant, having little in the way of amenities or view.

We had a nightmare getting to this hotel in our car, because it is entirely surrounded by one way streets, so there's only one correct way to approach it, and if you go wrong you can easily end up on the motorway (Apple maps didn't help, as it doesn't show the one-way streets at all)

Parking is also a bit tricky as it is double bay (so you have to leave your keys with reception in case they need to move your car), and used as a public carpark as well, and has no lift access.

Stayed for 2 nights over the New Year period. The room was clean and tidy. All staff were very friendly and accommodating especially the concierge staff who went out of their way to find the best route and transport of myself and my friend to get to our New Year's Eve function.

New Year's Day saw a mass checkout of New Year's Eve revelers however whilst there was some waiting in lines everything went smoothly.

This is in a great location, central to the CBD and Southbank.

Definitely will be staying here again. Thank you to all who made our stay so pleasant.

I recently stayed at the Mercure Brisbane. The hotel was what I expected, as we had stayed there before, but was very disappointed to get a 7am wake up call by drilling/ building works being carried out on Saturday morning???!!! (wouldn't have been such an issue if we didn't all have hangovers from the night before). We had been given no warning at all either when we booked or when we checked in that the works would be carried out over the weekend. It was only when I made the comment upon checkout that the Receptionist gave a "Yeah, sorry we didn't know that was going to happen"

Not a five or four star Hotel but I wasn't expecting this kind of service comming from a Mercure, I do both most of the time, Novotel and Mercure, but this location beats all expectations. Great housekeeping and front desk staff, they will do all they can in order to help you - Great location too.

To all staff, regardless of you duty, Thanks !!!
