For about $130 / night, the Medina was a great find! Yes, the comments about car parking being difficult are accurate, however, the
room and views of the apartment, friendliness of the staff and everything else make this a great choice.

Having stayed at many other properties in Brisbane, this is probably one of the best value for money locations you could find. The location is great for a night out in "Fortitude Valley", and is also walking distance to the CBD.

Rooms are a decent size, everything fully equipped and nice and quiet and comfy. Definitely worth looking at.

My stay at the Medina was exceptional. Late arrival.....but just in time for final dinner sitting. The view from the dining room was unsurpassed. Have recently been to the Middle East and the UK...........NOWHERE was there a veiw like this. The food was reasonably priced and delicous. The service fantastic!

The room was on the smaller side, but more than adequate for my needs. The view here was as good as the dining room and when I woke the next morning I was overwhelmed.

I had a conference/workshop at the Medina itself, so took a walk along the beautiful riverside in to the city.

I usually stay at the Hilton when I go to Brisbane....doubt if I'll do that again....not now that I've found the Medina.....the price, the service and the facilities!

I was allowed to use the facilities including parking even after I had booked out....... AND they threw in a free breakfast!

I highly recommend this Hotel and apartments.

Hotel on the edge of the CBD, a walk of about 10 -- 15 mins, but easy walk along the river.
Room was fine no problem, actual bedroom was small, but the lounge area was plenty big enough, and so size of bedroom irrelevant.

Great views across the bridge and river, and no noise from outside, not from our room anyway.

Only major downside is the hill you need to walk up to get to the hotel, a number of people had to stop, its not a particularly big hill but is steep, so definitley not for those with any walking difficulties.

Staff couldn't have been better, though the dining room wasshut onenight for a priivate function and we only found out late in the day.

Wow!! We moved to the Medina as The Oaks in Ann St had put up their prices for an event night..boo!!

Wow...why didn't we stay here the whole time we were in Brisbane? The view is absolutely awesome...ask for room 810 (we will be again!!) It was fun to wake up and watch the bridge climbers!

The room was clean, well serviced with mini bar and kitchenette...and breakfast the next morning was fantastic. Parking was only 5 dollars and the staff were very helful letting us have a later check out.

The only thing is if you are going to explore Brisbane on foot and you don't like hills, this place is not for you...but it's really only minor!
