Due to changed plans, we needed a hotel in Brisbane at short notice. As other hotels were booked out, I decided to give the Ibis a go.

It's in a great location, just up from the river and 10 minutes from Queen St or the Roma St. station etc. etc. Checkin was quick and easy. The staff were helpful, polite and professional. The room was on the small and functional side, but the decent price makes that ok. At first I was a little worried about noise from the next room, but as it turned out, that wasn't a problem and didn't disturb us. Check-out was as easy as check-in.

For a no-frills, decent hotel in Brisbane, I'd recommend it.

Stayed here for 2 nights during a short stop-over on route from Vanuatu to Sydney. Hotel was ideal for this - not far from central station, comfortable, cosy, clean, good service.

Didn't see much of Brisbane due to my short stay so can't comment on it's location for city things but i'd guess it's good!!

Had one problem - used the restaurant and a waitress took my order. Unfortunately it was forgotten about! I eventually got it and they made no charge and I didn't even have to kick up a fuss! Was impressed by this

Stayed for two nights to start off our Australia Vacation. Solid location and fair pricing. Would recommend highly, just dont expect luxury. Parking is expensive though and not too convenient...

This was to be our first Christmas without children so we decided to have a night away and booked the Ibis. I did call and ask if it was possible could we have a nice room.
I couldn't have been happier, the staff were amazing, the room was wonderful with views to the river, which at night with the lights made it a very romantic view.
We ordered room service and the food was fabulous.
My children had called the hotel and asked if they could have a bottle of something or anything really sent to our room, as a Christmas surprise but as the restaurant was closed this wasn't possible. So the reception staff gave us some chocolates and a card and wrote on it on behalf of our children. I thought that this was so thoughtful and charming.
The staff are the nicest I have ever experienced in any hotel, I have now become and advantage plus member.

My husband has just said to book the Ibis Brisbane for my birthday as we had such a nice Christmas there he thought it would be lovely for my birthday.
