“Bring Your Walking Shoes!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 16, 2013

Beautifully maintained Botanic Gardens with an array or flaura to see. You can easily spend an hour here enjoying the peacefulness of the gardens. Make sure you bring your walking shoes and some water. A cafe is also available.

“Another one of Brisbane's hidden treasures”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 15, 2013

This is such a romantic place. Like the Roma Street parklands, the botanic gardens at Mt Coot-tha is another one of Brisbane's hidden treasures. Its japanese garden is just as beautiful. Being a Botanic Gardens there are all the plants you can imagine, from fruit trees to exotic species from all around the world. I love the bonsai house, the tropical dome and fern house too. And if you want to sit back and relax with a cuppa, the cafe does a really good coffee and carrot cake, just don't mind the nosy water dragons!

“Food is decent, but a bit expensive.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 10, 2013

We had lunch prior to viewing the gardens. Food is decent and a bit expensive. The setting is what really makes it, and we really enjoyed ourselves.

“Always stunning”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 8, 2013

This place is always beautiful. No matter the time of year this place looks really good. Awesome little cafes and stores scattered all over the place. There is a place where you can set up for a BBQ which is awesome.
