We stayed here in May 2009 - perfectly fine for an overnight stay near the CBD, which is a 5-10 minute walk away (the hotel is just over the road from Roma Street railway station). Clean and comfortable.

I stayed here for a business trip to Brisbane for 3 nights. I got a deal they were offering for $99AUD so it was really good for the price. Rooms were clean and big, bathrooms good (also stocked with good amenities) and the beds were very confortable. They have wirless in the room which was about $10 per hour or you could pay for a day's use which was $25. They also have computers in reception if you don't have a laptop - I think that was about $2 per half hour. The hotel had a good restuarant and bar area and the breakfast had a good selection too they also offer room service too. The location was great - 5 minutes walk to the CBD - it's just on the edge of the CBD but only a couple of roads away. It is also right next to the train station so very easy to get to from the airport (about 25 mins on the train) but they also offer parking which is charged per day. There is a small gym, spa and sauna which was good to use at the end of the day. Staff were friendly and helpful and I would certainly recommend this hotel and use it again.

We wanted a hotel in Brisbane to see us from an over night flight into Australia on to a week in Byron Bay. Nothing looked much better than anything else until family members said ‘You must stay at the Holiday Inn. It was the best place we had in Oz’. So we booked it. Couldn’t not!

Yes, it is in the same complex as the transport centre and it is, when all is said and done, an urban hotel but the service was exemplary in every direction and in every respect. From the moment we needed to check in early to the time they called a cab for us to leave the attitudes and behaviour of the staff made the place a pleasure. Problems with tour companies and car hire were sorted on our behalf, sightseeing advice willingly proffered, concierge service provided, and on and on were all faultless.

Our room was on the 11th floor, clean and well appointed. We took the breakfast inclusive deal and would advise others to do the same. A really good range of food ( I particularly liked the availability of both American and British bacon) and they manage the task that seems beyond to scope of higher rated hotels, of being able to keep the food piping hot.

We had a couple of spare hours and used them to stroll in the park at the rear of the hotel. This was an unexpectedly delightful diversion. It is true that the South Bank is a more attractive overall location but this is no more than a short walk away across the river. If you value good service then this makes up for the hotel not being in the very best location.

It's a very professional hotel, the best (of course the most expensive) hotel during my trip.

It's on a extramly good location: within a same building of Brisbane Transit Center where Train and Coach terminals are.

The only thing is that hope you find a good price for your stay :)
