“AWESOME TRIP!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2012

Went to the Island last week and it was so awesome!!! Definitely a must do when in Brisbane!!! The booking process and organisation to get to the island was so easy and once we were there the Tangatours staff were so friendly and welcoming. As soon as we got there we were able to do the paddle boarding for an hour then straight onto the snorkel tour which was amazing around the wrecks!! The banana boat and sand boarding were also heaps of fun!! I would tell anyone visiting Brisbane to head straight over there, its cheap and definitely worth it! Wish we had of stayed overnight to see all the dolphins but!

“A nice trip but nothing amazing”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2012

We went to the island in August this year and did the snorkelling, segway and fishing. Arrived at the docks really early and got to the island at about 8am when it was totally deserted. Waited until 9 and booked to go on the wrecks snorkelling trip. We did this at 10am and there was only 4 of us so it was quite good although it was a tough experience- we'd done some snorkelling in Egypt but the wrecks were quite a challenge with some really powerful waves to deal with. Cut my feet and hands on the wreck! Didn't see anybody from Tangalooma Tours at all- not sure what people mean when they mention a "briefing" in their reviews- maybe this is for people staying overnight? We were just left to our own devices to sort things out. The island was nice and we managed to see a whale go past from the beach. Also saw dolphins on the way there and from the beach whilst fishing.

I'd recommend going, but it's probably best in the height of summer.
