In a city where you can spend a fortune on meals this was a refreshing change of fare. We ate exceeding well, the food was delicious and the service excellent. The flexible menu made it very easy for a table of 6 to share many types of Greek dishes. We ordered an appetizer plate that was the perfect amount as a starter.
We ordered calamari and octopus plates that were perfectly grilled and plentiful. We followed with various meats and sausages all grilled perfectly and delicious.
The restaurant is BYO and we brought both red and white wines. They provided an ice bucket for the white and brought glasses for both types. There was a $2 corkage fee per-person, which seemed very fair and imminently more agreeable than a per-bottle charge.
When the bill arrived we were all a little stunned that the total averaged just $23 per person, something you can easily spend at breakfast in Brisbane. I HIGHLY recommend The Little Taverna.
