We stayed at Ashbourne House last year and again in October this year and it was perfect. We also stayed for a few days at Kathy's other property in Dovedale Cres. which was just as good. Kathy's hospitality takes some beating and she always helps as much as she can. Its so peaceful and the beds are so comfortable.
My favourite part is having a cup of coffee on the veranda early morning and listening to the choir practice from the primary school across the road. Listening to them sing 'Waltzing Matilda' and then the Australian national anthem was just magic.

I would recommend Ashbourne House without hesitation and I just hope we can make the trip again someday.
Thanks for everything Kathy!

It was great seeing you again, it was like catching up with old friends. I hope your daughter enjoys her January stay as much as you enjoyed yours. Thank you for the lovely note you left in the Visitor's Book.

We have stayed at Ashbourne House B&B two years in a row and it is one of the nicest places we have stayed over the years. It is clean, quiet, beautiful and the owner is attentive, helpful and friendly. Just a great place to stay!

We were breathtaken from the moment we stepped foot in this beautiful Queenslander. The rooms were beautifully arranged with elegant antique and original furniture which added to the warm and welcoming environment. All amenities were fully functional and extremely clean. Kathy was such a wonderful and friendly host. We highly recommend Ashbourne House as a peaceful and relaxing getaway that is under 5minutes drive to surrounding shops.

We stayed at Ashbourne House, self-catering for 2 weeks at the end of July/Aug 13. Our group consisted of myself, my mum and my 2 girls aged 12 and 15 yrs old. We were in the ground floor of the property in Dovedale Crescent. We used both bedrooms and Cathy turned the study into a 3rd one for us. The accommodation is comfortable, spacious and has all the facilities we needed, at an affordable price. I would highly recommend this property to anyone. We would definately stay here again.

We have just returned from our holiday and stayed at Ashbourne House for 4 days while we visited family. The house was fantastic, plenty of room for all of us. We have 2 kids aged 2 and 4.5 so we used the sunroom as their play room and it was fantastic. Loved being able to cook with everything in the kitchen, beds were extremely comfortable and great to have washing facilities to prepare for our next part of our trip. Great location in a quiet street. Would definately recommend to anyone.

When our landlord would not give us a short term lease while we waited for our house build to finish, we desperately looked for somewhere to stay. Short term leases are very hard to get so discovering Ashbourne House was a god-send. Kathy and Tony have been very friendly and flexible and we are now coming to the end of our 6 month stay here. There is a variety of accommodation on offer but we have been staying on the ground floor of the second house (fronting Dovedale Crescent). Being a new renovation, it is finished to a high standard and we have been very comfortable here. I would not hesitate in recommending Ashbourne House for short or long stays.
