Went there on the 1st august for my gf birthday and I was very disappointed by what I saw. We arrived at 9, so we were the last table to be seated. Greating and seating were good, we were acknowledged soon as we walked through the door. We were offered first drink and menus. So far so good.. Now our sommelier of the night was or seems like extremely busy. The champagne was poored so quickly that he dropped some on the glass base. We ordered the tasting menu with wine match for me. Now, the mise en place (cutlery setting) is 4 forks/4knifes! Something I haven't see since watching the movie Titanic in 98.
Food was very good, pace of each course was spot on, we were very hungry so that's exactly what we needed. Announcing the food was another low point, only 1 lady staff did go in front of the table facing us and described the food, the rest of them were announcing behind us...wine matching was done on time but in a brasserie manner, no explanation of the wine or vintage, only the name and region. That's a disgrace to charge 230$ and not even taking time to talk with the guest! Also the som's was speaking so fast you could barely understand him and see the label. No point on wining best wine list if the wine service is done so poorly!
