visiting Cloudland is like being on a planet designed by artists. It is stunning. The lounges upstairs are fabulous for a weekend afternoon chill out listening to live music and sipping on an exotic cocktail.

“Amazing place for a Hens Night! Highly Recommend!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

I recently organised a Hens Night for my best friend and 13 other girls. I booked the Rhombus Booth at Cloudland and I am so pleased that I did!
Such a gorgeous place, beautifully themed with very comfy booths. I booked this through Kate (functions) and she was marvelous in organising the evening for us.
Our waitress Steph, was so lovely, we never had to leave our booth once to go to the bar. It was all table service. The food was delicious! I'd love to come back and have a meal there.
Overall, I definitely recommend Cloudland as a location for a Hens Night (although it would have been great to have a little bit of Hens dress up allowed - ie. A Bridal sash)
Would definitely come back - great value for money

“A visual and sensory experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2013 via mobile

Went on a Saturday night for dinner and choose the 8.30 booking rather than 6.30. Walked in and wow, the decor blows you away. 3 levels, with the restaurant on the ground floor. Seating options include central long table, two bench booths, circular low sit booth but we have a circular wire cage booth which was great for 4 and worth reserving. Meal options included sharing or individual options pasta/meat/pizzas/salads and you could choose a small or large size serving. Our table tried a mix of both and if you are having a 3 course meal the small size is ample. My pasta dish was 19 sml or 29 lge. Pint of Nastro was 8 and good merlo was 36. Overall prices were better than expected. Service was good too. 1st level has great view over all from street side wall which has water flowing down it. Amazing. Quick bar service and walk right around the floor as plenty of nooks and crannies (and a bed) to enjoy. Like a previous reviewer said, it is like a Alice in Wonderland interior. Didn't see an enforced dress code and it spread form tuxedos to jeans and shirt. Music was a good mix from old to new school. No immediate dance floor but later some table are cleared to make space. Got busier as the night progressed and definitely was the place to see and be seen. You'll love it.

“Dinner and drinks for a hens night.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2013

Went here in march 2013 with girls for dinner and drinks on a hens night. We had a blast. Food was good. and Its loud, make no mistake. Service was good, later on the bar got crowded but the staff are fast and making all manner of cocktails so a bit of a wait is expected. Overall it's a good night out. Get there early or you'll be in the queue to get in!

“Great food, value and setting but too loud”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2013

This was described on booking as a feasting menu. This means that you share dishes and don't order individual entrees/mains. It was a bit confusing though as there is actually a set "Grazing Menu" which you have to order/request on booking otherwise they may not have enough of everything. We were not advised of this on booking. We were actually a bit confused as to what they wanted us to do. However we preferred to order from the full menu anyway (although chose many of the same dishes!). FOOD WAS FABULOUS AND VERY CHEAP!. We had 2 vegetarians so they were happy for them to be on a separate bill.
Service was good from table staff but the maitre d' confused things a bit - no major deal, just be clear about what you order and book.
The visual setting is fantastic- funky and imaginative. We had 1 of a couple of curved tables as there were 10 of us but with a few less you could book a booth.
Bar upstairs was good although bar tender was totally without any personality and may be thought we were too old for the place (47th birthday) as did the guy on the door. Again, you can book a round table/booth upstairs which would be great.
My only real complaint is the noise. That was fine in the bar but made it really difficult in the restaurant with a bigger group. So, we left as soon as we had eaten to get coffee/dessert elsewhere.
There are 2 dinner setttings: 6:30 and 8:30. Try the 6:30 if you are going for dinner rather than drinks. Great place to take people new to Brisbane. Pay parking acroos the road.
