Our stay at the Diamant Hotel Brisbane was amazing. When we called to book the staff member was very pleasant and very attentive to our requirements of a room - there was no push to upgrade or anything. Upon arrival the counter staff were very professional, personable and ensured our stay was memorable (which it was). We were here due to my birthday and friends giving us a dinner cruise. The hotel supplied us with a bottle of champagne for the occasion and also when we turned the TV on it came up with Happy Birthday Caroline - how personable and awesome that was. The staff were so helpful with directions on where we wanted to go and have an excellent knowledge of the Brisbane area. The beds are so comfy - we did not wake with aches like some hotel beds. ... I've kept meaning to jump on and write a quick thanks for weeks now, finally have time to say it... THANKS! I stayed at the hotel in the beginning of Dec. Myself and partner had booked the basic standard room for the weekend as we had a wedding to attend and were also heading out for a costume party. The hotel had given us a complimentary upgrade which was great so we had a balcony, but due to having several friends from out of town going to get ready in our room there just wasn't enough space! The hotel was almost booked out so we couldn't get one of the suites on the top floor but one of the girls at the desk suggested we have a look at a wheelchair access room on the first floor. BINGO! No balcony, double bed rather than king but huge amounts of space in the bathroom for us all to get dressed. We were so pleased! To top it off we even got a bottle of sparkles free!! We thought we were being nuisances but staff were so caring. Terrific service. All I can say is thank-you and we recommend you to everyone we speak to. After reading some other posts all I can say to anyone who stays that has a problem is - talk to the staff and they will bend over backwards to help...

I booked via the hotel and from this moment until the end of our stay the staff went above and beyond to ensure top standards of customer service were met.

The reception staff were always pleasant and helpful in assuring room service and taxis were prompt, the hotel food was very flavourful and filling (be it bircher muesli or salt and pepper squid) and the cocktails were delicious made with fresh fruits and original ingredients.

Last but not least the rooms are VERY clean.

On our return to Brisbane we intend to stay with the Diamant Hotel as it was a truly enjoyable experience, an added touch to an already wonderful holiday.

The Diamant Hotel in Brisbane seems to be a well constructed solidly built small residential building. I would guess that it is built from tiltup concrete panels with possible use of post tensioning which would allow for cost savings during the construction phase. A modest design phase budget would have been allowed for with nice use of shadow lines in lieu of cornices in most feature areas and with high quality fittings being used throughout.

Particularly of note is the perfect tiling in the bathrooms with a good fall gradient being used for water waste from the shower.

The rooms are small but well fitted out and the location nestled in between the Brisbane City and Fortitude Valley is convenient if patrons wish to flit between both. The service is great and on the whole I would rate this stay as more enjoyable than the Big 4 Caravan Park in Batchlor NT.
