Food was average, setting was wonderful, service was below average which was exaggerated due to the waitress neglecting to put our order through to the kitchen meaning we had to chase and then wait for food to be cooked. If we are pushed we may give another try.

“Great location, average breakfast”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2013

Have been here many times and just love the setting. The recent drizzly long weekend public holiday saw us there again for breakfast under the heaters on the deck overlooking forlorn golfers. The food was tasty but the proportion size was just way too small for the price and was swamped by the big white plate. I think that this great establishment could rethink this aspect of its business, as it takes the shine away from the good bits.

“Wonderful food and service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2013

I went there for a small school reunion. Service was prompt, even for a large table of 10. Food was very good. Entrees are large, and I found an entree was sufficient for lunch, with dessert, which was possibly the best I've ever had - luscious warm chocolate with a small dish of the best caramel sauce. Entree was a warm calamari dish, beautifully cooked and presented. Certainly the food is good value for money.

“Good meal”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2013

Enjoyed the meal a lot. Very good steak. The self-saucing chocolate pudding was fantastic. I hadn't appreciated it was outdoors, though, which is increasingly important these next few months, and they didn't have anything in the way of heating. Apart from that, it was a cracking good place.

“Exceptional setting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2012

The indoor/outdoor setting is the best example of Brisbane casual dining for me. Although it is very popular for events and large groups, it is usually possible to get a quiet corner. The view over the golf course makes it a great place to take overseas visitors.
