“Quest serviced apartments Darwin”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

This hotel is one of the best hotels I've stayed in. The customer service for me was 10 out of of 10
When I walked into the reception the manager had a smile in her face. We had to wait for the room to be cleaned ( 45 min). As we had a small wait we were upgraded to a better room.

The staff went out of there way to help me. Many thanks to the front desk girls Serena , Jessica Lanna. I would most definitely come back here as the customer service was astounding

The hotel is walking distance to everything. You could get a cheap day pass for the local gym and the hotel had a beautiful pool.

Dear Adrienne,

Thank you for your very kind words. We are happy to know that Quest Darwin’s location and service met your requirements.

Although we always try to oblige with guests requests; unfortunately due to our occupancy levels we were unable to oblige with the (check-in) time you requested. Fortunately, you did understand that we accommodated you as early as possible.

It was certainly our pleasure to be of any kind of assistance. We enjoyed having you stay with us at Quest Darwin and look forward to welcoming you back- hopefully very soon!

P.S- We all now call Nina: Lanna :)

Kind regards,

Jessica and the Team at Quest Darwin

booked a 2 bedroom apartment for Dec 31st and Jan 1st. was very spacious, clean and had everything we needed including full kitchen.

Staff were all very helpful and friendly.
They offered us extra laundry detergent when needed, and happily provided a packet of straws when requested, both at no cost.
Great Location. Close enough to the city centre, without the hustle and bustle.

the rate did seem a bit expensive compared to other places we have stayed in at Darwin, however this may have been because we had the room booked for new years eve.

the carpark was secure with huge height, which was great for our 4wd as not only did we not have to remove gear off the roof racks to ensure we fitted, but was good to leave it up there, without worrying about theft. however where you swipe your card to open the gate for the carpark, it was located right next to the gate. they didnt have it set up, a few meters back, which means you cant swipe while in your car. you have to get out and swipe. because if you drove your car up close enough, the front of the car would be through the gate, in order for you to reach the swiper. this may sound lazy to some, but its just something you notice after staying at other places without this problem.

Dear aahsarah,

Thank you for your great feedback.

I agree with you. Quest Darwin’s (4.5 star property) location is indeed great! Being located in the CBD means you are just a walk away from Brown's Mart Theatre, The Amphitheatre, Deckchair Cinema, the Darwin Waterfront and Mindil Beach Markets.
Most importantly: Mitchel Street (where all the restaurants and pubs are) is a 550m walk from the property, and even better Woolworths is only 110m away (great for when you feel like a snack but do not have one). Hence the reason we offer such competitive rates.

Now to move on to the carpark entrance.
It is true; for some, the need to get out of the car in order to swipe the keycard can be frustrating (especially when -like me, you have to do it every day). However, unfortunately that is how the building was designed and I do apologise for the inconvenience this has caused.
Nonetheless, we are happy to know you still enjoyed your stay with us anyway.

Thank you again and we hope to welcome you back soon.

P.S – I am happy you did not have to park the car on a rainy day during your stay at Quest Darwin ;)

Kind regards,

Jessica and the Team at Quest Darwin

I stayed at Quest Darwin for 7 days on a personal holiday and I cannot fault the hotel in the least. At reception Jessica was particularly helpful and very pleasant; any issue or inquiry and she was always more than happy to help, and this was the same for all other reception staff I encountered. The room was spacious and spotless. Furthermore, the location of the hotel is excellent; walking distance to supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, internet cafés, as well as attractions such as Crocosaurus Cove, the esplanade and the wavepool. The pool was very clean and a great way to escape the Darwin heat.

Dear Laura C,

Thank you very much for taking the time to review the property and for your compliments. We are pleased to hear your positive feedback regarding the quality of service which you received from our staff.
You are right; our location is fantastic: being on Cavenagh Street means we are away from the noise and commotion of the restaurants, pubs and nightclubs found on Mitchell Street however as you mentioned, just walking distance from them (in case you do need that refreshing beer – it also helps escape the Darwin heat).

Laura, thank you again and we hope to see you again on your next holiday in Darwin!

P.S. Your positive feedback (about me) will be forwarded to the managing director ;)

Kind regards,

We stayed at Quest Darwin from Dec 30 til we had to go home on Jan 6.
We will definitely be back - from check in to our last minute requested late check out - due to Jetstar delaying our flight home by over 10 hours! - the Quest was an exactly what we needed.
We booked a one bed as we were there for a week. Well appointed kitchen with all you would need to cook a roast (we didn't) large living area including a new toy for us - the sanctuary - a universal charging hub for phones etc... great option I want for home! Woolies, bakers delight next door (incl woolies liquor but liquor closed Sunday!)

Reception.... well what can I say.... every person was friendly , greeting us on our way and and out and interested in what we were doing. Any question answered with a local knowledge. Each was interested to learn what we were doing to add to their knowledge bank.

Housekeeping was wonderful - even on the skeleton new years day's service. those lades seem to work extra hard.

Nice touches.... we left some drinks in freezer cooling .... and remembered when we were out... quick call and drinks removed from freezer. Walked in from dinner on Jan 5... advised we were leaving at around 5:30am and did we have anything to settled... next minute I was back down at reception having received a SMS from Jetstar to say our 7:30am departure was now 17:45.... we received a late checkout AND was advised that if stuck we could use facilities in pool area (shower/toilets etc) to freshen up before we left for airport.... THANK YOU!!

Room Tip: If you can go the extra for the one bedroom for longer stays.... makes a huge difference as you don...

Dear DonnaMN,

Thank you for taking the time to review Quest Darwin and for sharing your experience with others.

We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us and that our team contributed to this.

Quest Darwin’s major refurbishment (completed in February 2012), incorporated the addition of the SANCTUARY (a universal charging hub for phones) which is a favourite (along with Judy Prosser’s artwork) of mine as well :)

Thank you again for your feedback.
We look forward to welcoming you back soon!

P.S. - we are glad we avoided the explosion in the freezer :)

Kind regards,

Jessica at Quest Darwin

Great apartment, fully kitted out with kitchen, laundry etc. Comfortable stay for a few nights. Parking should be included in the price though, not mentioned at the end of the stay when you are settling the bill. Very uncool.

Good location and pool amenities are great also

I stayed here for 5 nights. From check in to check out there were absolutely no problems or issues. Sarah and Fazela particularly, were exactly the right people in reception. Exceptional customer service! Without fail they were always friendly, welcoming and knowledgable. Each day I returned to the hotel, it felt like coming home. Cheryl and Lennie did a great job and kept my room clean. Thanks to each of these 4 ladies, and the many people behind the scenes who made the stay so memorable in a nice way. The studio room size - while not huge - was fine, the kitchenette worked, the bed was comfortable and the linen/manchester was of good quality. **Woolworths was next door and the main shopping area and restaurants not much further.

my wife and i got a suite which was absolutely fabulous. it was really spacey and we could cook when we didnt feel like dining out. It was just a really great room, it didnt even feel like we were in a hotel. We will be definitely be recommending this to our friends back home when they head down to darwin.
