Stayed here in March when the hotel was still Holiday Inn. Like other reviewers, we too went to the wrong hotel initially. However, arriving at the right hotel wasn't the answer to our problems. We spent quite some time at reception whilst they tried to locate our booking, despite me having written confirmation. Eventually they found the booking, which was hidden due to their misspelling of my name.
Our room was the harbour view suite. Plenty of space, but a bit disappointing. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. The bathroom was a standard sized bathroom (very small, given the overall space). The bathroom was tired, dated and had a filthy air vent. The bath felt quite fragile, and the base flexed when standing to shower.
We had breakfast at the hotel, and this was also adequate. We had dinner in the restaurant one night, and found the menu limited, but the food was OK. Another night we had room service, and there were more options offered.
There was no ironing board in the room and this took two requests at reception and four telephone calls over two days before it was resolved.
If in Darwin again I would probably give another hotel a go.
