“Great Fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2012

This was so much fun for young and old! Feeding the fish by hand was hilarious, huge batfish and mullet, all species of fish. Highly recommend it especially for children.

“Look at the fish”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2012

This is a very good way to look at and feed lots of fish. It is a very unusual experience and well worth the visit.

“Great for all ages”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2012

Easy to get there but essential to check on tides first. It's closed on very low ones.
Plenty of bread provided but use common sense and don't overdo it. The running commentary is very helpful to identify the various fish that come in to feed.
Kids of all ages will love it as will mums, dads etc. I was surprised at how many fish turned up.

“It was so much fun”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2012

It was a great way to spend an hour and a half getting close to the fish. They swim right up close and will take the bread from your hands - they don't like crust! The milkfish didn't come in too close but certainly made their presence felt. The best part was when the fish came up and nibbled on our toes.
It's good family fun, very relaxing and enjoyable.

“Unique experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012

My boss encouraged my husband & I to go the the fish feeding at Aquascene at Doctors Gully in Darwin and what a wonderful experience it was.
The fish come in from the ocean a high tide and eat bread from your hand, we were in Darwin in September and stayed at the Holiday Inn which is right across the road from Doctors Gully and Aquascene Fish Feeding.
The fish take the food from your hand like a gentle puppy, I was expecting them to grab at the bread, but it was taken very gently.
I would encourage anyone in Darwin to try this experience.

Hi,
Thanks for your review, we think our fish are like puppies too, they are so gentle and love to be petted. You also managed to get a great shot of our cheeky Batfish, they usually go back under the water when a camera is pointed at them! Thanks again.
