“Nice Coffee That's About All”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 17, 2012

This is the second time I have eaten at this cafe, and the food has been terrible. For what they charge, I am surprised at how poor the presentation and quality of the food is. However, they do a very nice coffee, with Chris the barista behind the counter. I will always go back for a coffee but that's about it. The gorgeous views make up for the terrible food.

“Good on its day”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2012

Extensive breakfast and lunch menu but closed in the evenings. Coffee can be excellent but it does depend on who is behind the coffee machine. If it's a rather serious dark-haired bloke called Chris, it will be good. A bit pricey.

This place is bad, expensive bad coffee with arrogant owner and rude staff. Terrible food. don't go. Pitty it's sometimes the only place open down at Cullen Bay.

“Ordinary”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2012

We visited this cafe after checking out other reviews on Trip Advisor but were disappointed. 3 children wanted pancakes (pretty much the only kid friendly breakfast item on the menu) and when I went to order them was told they had run out! How can you run out of pancakes? Had they run out of flour and milk? Having spent a week making pancakes in the outback for 9 people I was tempted to step into the kitchen and offer them a hand but really wanted someone to cook for me for a change. Anyway we ordered a couple of serves of raisin toast (burnt) for the kids and then they disappeared to the kids room (smelly) to watch The Little Mermaid. (so I guess that's a plus). Our breakfasts were average and for the price I guess it just wasn't good value.
