“Great day tour in Darwin”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2014

My wife and I had the best day of our stay in Darwin on the Wallaroo tour of Litchfield National Park and the trip on the Adelaide river feeding the crocodiles. This is a one day tour combining the feeding of the crocodiles and the visit to the park. The tour guide made the day a delight and the crocodile guide was so interesting and had so much knowledge about crocodiles that it was just fantastic. If you are going to Darwin and have a day free I can' recommend this tour highly enough. To swim in and under falls and in rock pools was just out of this world. I didn't want to get out of the rock pools, to lay there with water cascading over you was just sublime. Remember the name Wallaroo for a day to remember!

“Adventure with Wallaroo Tours was THE Best...Forget the rest.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2014

Although it's an early start, we were picked up at The Palms City Resort at 7 am who highly recommended this tour to us. We were picked up by a top bloke called Joey, what a character. He welcomes everyone on board and talks about the exciting day out ahead. First stop is the Adelaide River where we met a real Crocodile Man. His name was Pat, and he was a wealth of knowledge about crocs. We went about 500 metres up river and came face to face with some of the biggest reptiles I've ever seen in my life. Pat dangled some chicken carcasses over the edge of the boat so when they thrust out of the water you can see the sheer power of these animals. Pat also whistled some hawks over to the boat and threw chicken fat onto the river for them to swoop down and pick up with their claws. One almost got taken by a croc. We took some awesome pictures and video to remember the experience.Pat was one of a kind. The look on everyone's face after the thrills and excitement was priceless. Thanks Pat. Now off to Litchfield National Park. We stopped at a little town called Batchelor. Joey set up the lunch for us all to enjoy. We set off to Wangi Falls for a swim next to 2 lovely waterfalls. The water was beautiful and warm and very relaxing. Our next stop was Florence falls. We took more photos and it was also very beautiful. We went back up stream to Buleys Hole for our second and final swim of the day. There were a number of swimming holes to choose from and each one cascaded to the next. They were deep enough to jump off the rocks and bomb into the water. It was a lot of fun. Joey took us to see the Cathedral Termite Mounds on our way out. These were quite remarkable. After such an eventfull day the only thing that could top it was Champagne and prawns at Sunset at Fannie Bay. This was the icing on the cake. An absolutely amazing day with some great people from all over Australia and overseas. You just don't realize what is in our own backyard called Australia. Thanks to Joey and Wallaroo Tours for an experience we will never forget.

“Best Day Out!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2014

We were picked up at our accomodation at the Vibe Hotel by Joey who was our Guide for the day. He was great, very interesting and funny at the same time. He took us out to the Jumping Croc cruise where we went out on a boat with Pat who was also very funny but extremely knowledgeable about all the crocs in the river. He had them jumping up out of the water and also up onto the banks of the river, next he had birds flying around the boat where he could feed them. Then it was off to Lichfield where we stopped for lunch and then we went swimming in 2 beautiful swimming spots inside Lichfield Park. Lastly we stopped on our way home and enjoyed champagne and prawns and watched the sun set and talked over the days activities with the other people on the bus. Best trip I have done for a long time highly recommend it.

“Our Darwin trip Saturday 25th October 2014”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2014

Ray & Rhonda B. You have got to do this.

What a great experience, we started with pick up at 7am from Cullen Bay Resort apartments with our guide for the day Kristy, she was just delightful from the start. The first thing we did was the croc jumping with Pat on the Adelaide River, wow was that amazing, he was so knowledgeable about the crocs, it was an awesome experience. Then the Wangi Falls, Buley Rock Hole & Florence Falls were fantastic & Kirisy knew so much about them it was great.
Before she dropped us off we all experienced a beautiful sunset at Fannie Bay with champagne & prawns! All in all a fantastic day that we would recommend to anyone visiting Darwin.
