“Fabulous!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2012

Delicious, healthy and wholesome food. Beautiful and relaxing setting. I had their carrot burger which not only looks fabulous, it tastes it! Loved the spirulina sauce and carrot patty. Will be dining there again. Hope to return sometime in the next week to try one of their raw cakes.

“Great healthy food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2012

Consistently excellent tasty vegetarian food. Plenty of yummy gluten and dairy free options. I love the opportunity to bring it home and warm up for dinner,

“Great food, don't be put off by the location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2012

Arrived for lunch with a colleague who was in the know, and found a delightful eating place set in or near an Nightcliff industrial estate. It has a very comfortable and relaxing outdoor eating area with shade, plants and fishbowls - for small or large groups, which we took advantage of.

Highly recommended, with great choice of food, (vegetarian/vegan/gluten free etc), full of flavour and a wide variety on offer. My colleague had the lentil soup - large bowl with and roll, while I had a pumpkin pie served with salad. This came with a mustard and oil dressing in a separate little dish which allowed me to dip my salad vegetables etc carrot sticks, as well as the pumpkin ingredients and baked pie crust. The curled beatroot in the salad was excellent.

Have fun and enjoy. We didn’t have a coffee, but I saw people coming to collect their takeaway orders with lunch.

“A Hidden Gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2012

I love this little place tucked away down a street in Coconut Grove. If your into 'clean eating', then this is the place to come. The food is wholesome and healthy with many options available to those who have particular dietary requirements. The coffee is great, and the cakes are amazing especially the raw carrot cake. The menu is limited, but it's definately a worthwhile experience.

“Delicious and friendly”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2012

It's quite clear to see that Martin's is run by someone who is passionate about the food they prepare. Despite being a vegetarian venue, I've taken friends who are resolute meat eaters and have found that they enjoy it just as much and discover a greater appreciation for the humble vegetable.

There is a range of vegetarian and vegan dishes, as well as excellent coffee and desserts like chocolate beetroot cake. Servings are generous and I recommend the Bali Curry or the Carrot Burger. Prices are very fair.

Meals are to takeaway as well. The service can be a bit slow but if you sit outside in the little garden under an umbrella then it is a quite pleasant respite. The tiny kitchen seems to do two sittings - the 12pm crowd and then the 1pm crowd. Tightly packed in tables so I don't know how you'd get a pram in, but this place doesn't seem to pull the mummy crowd. Open during the week for lunch, and Saturday mornings.
