went on a very busy Sunday morning, although we did not want breakfast, we were greeted politely and asked to wait whilst a table could be cleared, this was only about 3 minutes. this is a great place, ie, dine outside and enjoy the sea view. we had coffee and scones, which were enormous, they came beautifully presented with a bowl of cream, jam and butter. i do suggest though that one serve of scones would be sufficient for two people. when paying we were asked if we had enjoyed our visit, which we certainly had and will definitely be returning, next time on a week day. reading other comments, i am surprised as our staff member was very obliging and friendly to us which does make such a difference. the prices for our coffees and scones were in our opinion reasonable, for a place like this, after all it is Darwin. the people i was with would certainly have complained if everything was not to their satisfaction. we were also given a jug of cold water, which is something that you don't always get up here. if only the staff here could teach some other restaurants in Darwin how to greet and serve their customers.
