We went on the ride as it was billed as a great way to see the sunrise. The pick up was late and event though the sunrise last for a long time, I felt we could have started earlier. The staff was pleasant, but our cameleer had only been there for three weeks so not a great deal of skill. The ride was quite pleasant, the camels were a bit higher than I had expected. The peace and solitude were punctuated by the constant talk of our guide. There was considerable knowledge passed on, but I would have preferred some serenity on the early morning. When we reached the dune to watch the sunrise, we were actually turned the other way to get the best pictures of us, so we really missed the sunrise unless we bought the pictures. If this is your first camel ride it is a good way to go. There a far fewer flies in the morning ride than later in the day so no net is needed.
