“a good cause”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013

I was a bit disappointed by this visit, I thought it'd be longer, but I didn't mind because the money we paid went to a good cause

“Changes your perspective”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2013

This place will make you appreciate living in a city and the amount of work and dedication the RFDS staff have. The people in the outback are lucky to have such dedicated people looking out for them, from the hospital staff to the airline crew. Fabulous place. And no need to pay for entry - but a donation would go a long way.

“Really interesting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2013

Lots of history and still a very important service. A must to go and visit if in Alice springs. Lovely cafe had a good cup of tea and snack. Staff very informative and eager for your visit to be a good one. Go out of their way to ensure nothing missed and questions answered. Range of gifts to buy too.

“Inspiring”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2013

There is a lot of history here and it's fascinating to see how the whole service came about and the pioneers that made it so successful. The short film that's shown is very inspiring and informative. It gave us an appreciation of what actually still goes on now that we didn't have before. Fascinated with the old medical kits on display - some interesting medications used back in the day! There is a cafe attached to the centre as well so you can stop for a cuppa and take in the atmosphere.
