“Amazing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2013

I was so intrigued with this place. Working in a school I was so interested in how they taught the children it is amazing. The computers, cameras they use to communicate is fantastic and the way they have to distribute supplies to these children is fantastic. Well worth the visit, we did donate a book to their library so if you do visit donate one to their library. Wish we could have seen a class in action - next time. thank you

“Memories of Childhood TV Series in the UK!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2013

A real insight into the valuable work of the School of the Air which gives educational opportunities to over 130 children on extremely isolated cattle stations, mining complexes, etc, over a 1,300,000 sq km area.

This not only includes visual links with highly qualified teachers, but also a personalised home study course, and the occasional meeting up of all of the children with the staff as a taster of 'real' school.

We looked at computer recordings of royal visits, saw samples of the children's work and even talked to the children on camera
