“Very nice”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2013

Thank you for opening up and sharing this magical place with us. It was unlike any other experience and we had great personal interactions with the kangaroos. Such a neat place!

“Great talk and tour by a top bloke who knew his stuff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2012

We went here back at Christmas but thought I should leave a review as this was an excellent experience. It is ran by a bloke in his spare time and you are paying for upkeep of the sanctuary.

He's currently closed to the public due to the BBC filming and him being out of the country but definitely worth a visit!!!

“Excellent education about kangaroos.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 9, 2012

I was a little cynical about the photo of the nice man in a bush hat holding a cute baby kangaroo, but i decided i might as well see what this attraction was like since it was not expensive. I was pleasantly surprised. The owner Brolga has so much knowledge about kangaroos and care of wildlife affected by road accidents that it was very interesting. He takes the group around the natural shrubland area where kangaroos roam. He only keeps kangaroos that cannot be let back into the wild but the area they have to roam is reasonably large. The kangaroos are partly tame and you can pat and feed some of them. He talks all about his park and answers questions patiently as you walk, and one person at a time holds the baby kangaroo. This is quite a cool experience since you usually just see them skipping off from a distance. It was well worth the relatively short drive from the town to see this park.

“Very informative and fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2012

I have been here twice. Brolga the owner is wonderful and very very knowledegable about the kangaroos he helps and keeps. You can tell he just loves what he does as he lives there in a shed without electricity and cooks outside. The roos roam around the grounds and he always keeps at least one little joey inside for teaching purposes for the tours. You get to hold the baby roo. He also has lots of pictures of all the ones he has rescued over the years. This is a must do to see some of the real Outback.
