“Palm Valley 1 day tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 6, 2015 NEW

This tour is amazing. To see Palm trees and Ghost gums growing side by side naturally is a true wonder. The ancient Cycads were awe inspiring. Going with this tour group is the best way to travel the unmade outback roads without the trouble of driving them yourself. We thought travelling up the river beds was terrific. Our driver/guide Phil was great and very competent. He took care of every passenger very well. I would highly recommend Palm Valley and you have to do it with Alice Wanderer.

“Absolute Highlight - Palm Valley 4 WD Day Tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2015 NEW

What a great day this was.
And to have Jim on this tour was just fantastic, cause he himself is a big part of Central Australian tourism history. He's got lots of stories to tell and he is happy to share them with everybody.
The scencery absolutely fantastic. A great 4 WD track, which I would have not liked to do on my own and felt in good hands with Jim and Phil.
Scones and Tea at Hermannsburg and lunch on the way in to Palm Valley was great, fresh and lots of it. Hermannsburg mission and ground very interesting.
Really enjoyed the day and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting.
Thank you guys for a very memorable day! Eva

“West Macdonnell Ranges”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2015 via mobile

Our last tour day in Alice.. Was picked up in little 22 seater 21 April 2015 by top young fella, Phil... We'd been to Kata Tjuda National park, Kings Canyon with another tour company, but the time we had & the sights we crammed into one day was great.. Ploughman's lunch was beautiful... Phil (tour guide) was terrific. Very informative & a sense of humour.. Finished off at Ellery Creek Big Hole... Phil said "Nev if u jump in then I'll follow" Ha ha. Didn't think he would, but he lived up to his word.... Absolutely recommend & hope to do it again.....!!! Cheers to Alice Wanderer... Nevil & Cally....

“Interesting day trip to West MacDonnell Ranges.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2015

We booked a tour of the MacDonnell Ranges with AAT Kings and were very surprised when a little bus called Alice Wanderer turned up. We were on their list so we hopped aboard. Very enjoyable small group tour with guide, Adam. Tour included a ploughman's lunch at Glen Helen which was nice and allowed time for us to have a walk along the Finke River. The tour included 7 stops with some beautiful scenery, but no wallabies. Very informative and very enjoyable.

“Day trip into the west McDonnell ranges”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2015

A well worth trip, John our guide was excellent full of knowledge of all locations we visited and also on the way there and back. A small amount of walking in places but was certainly achievable. You leave at 7:40 and get Back just after five pm. You get a very nice ploughman's at the glen Helen homestead.
